Baler Wellness Center Information
The Baler Wellness Center provides a supportive environment on campus where students can access free and confidential social-emotional support. The center provides short-term (6-8 sessions) school-based counseling. Additionally, it provides a safe space for students to complete a wellness check-in and access community resources and programs. Common Questions About the Baler Wellness Center
When can students visit the center?
Students are permitted to visit the center before school, during breaks, lunch, and after school. During class, with the teacher’s permission, students can request an appointment by scanning the QR code on the BWC poster. Posters are located in every classroom.
How can I access support from the Baler Wellness Center?
Students can complete a Student Self Referral, they can be referred through their school counselor, a support manager or migrant/EL case manager.
Parents can contact their student’s school counselor if they would like to discuss a Baler Wellness Referral.
Why would a student visit the Baler Wellness Center?
Students visit the Wellness Center for a variety of reasons such as, but not limited to: group counseling, school-based counseling appointment with a provider, a wellness-check-in, crisis support, and to access outside community and wellness resources.
